Whenever a new model year hits, the first thing many of our drivers ask us at Capital Region Honda Dealers is “what’s changed?” Admittedly, there’s nothing we like talking about more than cars, but we wanted to give you a quick recap of the Crosstour’s features so you can see the exact 2015 Honda Crosstour changes, as few as they were, before you take it for a test drive.
Improving on a Modern Classic
The old saying of “if it’s not broken, don’t fix it,” is one that more automakers need to learn, as it’s a rare thing for vehicles to go virtually unchanged between two model years. The Crosstour is the exception though, coming in two trim levels with two engine options and your choice of two- or four-wheel drive on the 2014 model. Fans will be happy to know that all of that returns for 2015, because all of those options made it easy for drivers to get what they want.
Here’s a recap of the features you can choose from on your new Crosstour:
- The Crosstour EX is the model’s basic trim level and comes with standard Bluetooth phone connectivity, a six-disc CD changer, seven-speaker stereo system, a one-touch power moonroof, an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, a rearview camera, and a set of 17-inch alloy wheels.
- Upgrading the engine brings 18-inch wheels, an 8-inch infotainment system, Honda LaneWatch, Bluetooth audio with Pandora and SMS texting capabilities, and a 278-hp 3.5L V6 engine to the Crosstour EX V6.
- The Crosstour EX-L includes the EX V6’s features (except the wheel upgrade) and adds on leather upholstery, heated front seating, lane departure warning, and forward collision warning.
- The Crosstour EX-L V6 upgrades the wheels back to 18-inch models and gives you the option for four-wheel drive and voice-activated navigation.
Part of the appeal of the Crosstour as a family vehicle comes from its fuel economy, giving you the versatility of a crossover while 2015 Crosstour EX four-cylinder models earn an EPA-estimated 31 highway mpg.*
